Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of Earthnaut Profiles! I’m Jessica, Ben’s wife and mother of our three kids known as “Agents Equellus, Dolphina, and Fox”.
I know you haven’t seen me since The Earthnauts story “Earth Lady Jessica“, but I have been very busy with homeschooling, working, supporting my husband in two businesses, and of course, playing hostess to up to 10 little “Visiting Scientists” from out of town shall we say!

My husband, kids, and I have come to love our little friends and we love taking them places to explore! Both Oceana and Union, shown here, are fascinated by my nursing job and are always asking me medical and nutrition questions.

By now you all know how 5 of the little Earthnauts landed in our town of Monument last summer, and then a second group landed on Hanukkah in December. In the second group, their planet’s Grand Elder and his wife came to stay!
I think my mom Nancy would like them because they are senior citizens on their home world. They are also great leaders of their people, and they really wanted to visit earth because they say great things are now happening here.
And now I get to find out more from them today, so here it goes . . .
Jessica: It’s been a few months, but we want to thank you for coming to Earth! How are you, Grand Elder?
Grand Elder Nomad: Very good, Miss Jessica! On behalf of myself and all the people of our Planet Engedi, we thank you for your hospitality these past months and for the past year for the first of my younger friends who have come!
Lady Tia: I agree with my husband! I remember coming to Earth here and feeling so incredibly sick, but the “diet” and cuisine you have had us eat has performed wonders! Even our brilliant young friend Union has enjoyed greater health!
Jessica: Yes, Union used to get nauseous a lot and his neck was so floppy. He was using Ben’s bathrobe belt as a brace for a few months but eventually replaced it with a scarf!
Ben, our kids, and I try to eat as healthy as possible. Many humans in our country have had problems due to not doing so and we want to be as healthy as we can be.
Nomad: On Engedi, we eat very healthy. We have been troubled by so many chemical manipulations of natural foods that Humans in your country eat. Little wonder there are so many illnesses and elements that can easily be prevented!
Lady Tia: Yes! I myself have studied nutrition for one of my many doctorates. I myself have a medical nursing doctorate on Engedi. It’s hard to know why many of our people have become sick and had an ailment such as I and Union. Union has Oceana, his Ph.D. student, studying and researching these reasons!
Jessica: Well, I’m definitely very interested in knowing about that too. I’m interested in knowing about infectious diseases that are very dangerous on our planet. I happen to be an Earth nurse and I’ve taken care of many that have been sick or injured. So how long have you two been married?
Nomad: We have been Special Engedian Man and Lady for many many years, probably around 50 Earth-Sun orbits or years in your time. I was around six years old in my years when Tia was born. We did not meet until later on we served in the Engedian Star Force and I was her ranking officer when I met her. We definitely sensed a spark and we knew that there was something right about the two of us being together and that it was the will of the Great Imm Leader for us to be together and so we made covenant vows before one of the Oracles of the Imm who blessed it.
Tia: We have always worked together ever since, everything from research projects, governing our people, and just enjoying time together much like you and your Special Earth Man Mr. Ben do, eating your delicious treats like Popcorn and watching moving pictures about other Special Earth Men and Women sensing that love spark on this “Hallmark Channel” as you say?
Jessica: So how did you become Grand Elder, Nomad?
Planet Engedi, the Earthnauts’ home planet, 777 light-years from Earth
Nomad: On our planet, our leadership is based on a Quorum of Elders. Elders are often chosen by a combination of other Elders and the citizens that have most benefited from the one elected. It’s not just the amount of doctorates they have, but it is also how they naturally lead with a good nurturing calm and quiet spirit that does not think of himself but thinks about others frequently.
Jessica: So how does one become an Elder like you did before your Grand Elder appointment?
The Albireo Star System. Area of Nomad’s research and ultimate battle victory over the Agagan hordes.
Nomad: I served as a scientist for the Great Engedian Academy, exploring the stars especially the Albireo double-star system near Earth. I was already the Elder of that system but was called into action due to a hostile threat by other alien species in league with the Ahhn Lord and his Agagan hordes. At the Battle of Albireo, I helped lead our forces to break the Agagan onslaught.
Tia: My husband was very brave! And I was there to help. The Agagan hordes are a group of ruthless galactic marauders who sole purpose is conquest and terror. Nomad helped rally many of our forces to help stop them from coming in. He was also chosen for his leadership skills in academics, humanitarian causes for other planets, settling disputes amongst other Engedians and many others. He has been Grand Elder for 30 Earth-Sun revolutions.
Nomad: When one Grand Elder is ushered into the Celestial Realm, the Lesser Elders in this present universe then elect a new one based upon leadership and character qualities. I didn’t want to be chosen as Grand Elder and I even asked the Great Imm Leader to help me not to be but he chose not to listen and I felt His voice say, “It is your modesty that shows everyone the wisdom of not listening to you”. After that, I cannot think of anything else I could do.
Jessica: This Great Imm Leader sounds amazing. I know there’s one interesting question that we never asked. Why are the two of you taller than the other 8 Earthnauts here?
Nomad: LOL! I knew this question would ultimately come! Engedians grow taller as we age. The taller we are, the older we are. But Lady Tia and I are even taller than that and it’s because we were working on a method to increase or decrease the size of cargo containers back in our younger years.
Tia: LOL, it’s such a funny story too! The energy-size converter was not dangerous, but it bounced against a mirror and it came back and struck us both. Normally we’d be just a little bit taller than Lagrange, but we grew larger! We would have fixed it, but our people loved us this way so we chose to remain this way too! 🙂
Jessica: So how did your people come to be? Do you have a great “origin” story about your planet?
Tia: We could tell you, but Lagrange is our planet’s greatest historian and he can tell it so much better and in a way that’s understandable to all. He’s a fantastic academic professor and skilled enough to do so.
Jessica: I look forward to hearing that. So why did you two become Earthnauts?
Nomad: Well, I and the other Elders talked about sending a group of our people to Earth to explore and learn more about Humans, their technology, their customs, their triumphs, their struggles, and others. Lady Tia and I are getting much older now, and know that sooner or later the Imm will come and usher us into the Celestial Realm. We want to see the Throne World of the Great Imm Leader. The planet they call Earth.
Jessica: Who is this Great Imm Leader?
Tia: He is the only Human to have ever visited our planet. But unlike virtually all other humans, He can teleport between worlds, fly on His own, and he never ages!
Jessica: Really? That’s interesting. In our world, there are many that have a similar belief in people similar to this. Superheroes, meta-humans, gods and religious characters. Who you describe sounds similar to someone my family believes exists.
Nomad: We have noticed this! Lagrange and Medallion have been pouring over electronic and paper documents about the various belief systems Earth has. They have some theories they would like to share soon!
Jessica: Well, Ben, our kids, and I would like to help you with that! So I had a question. Didn’t you say that your robes were beginning to shred?
Nomad: Yes that is true. I have worn this type of silver robe for many many of my years. It does not seem to be holding up anymore, and Lady Tia and I have talked about possibly adorning ourselves with Earth garb like our younger Earthnaut friends.
Tia: Yes Miss Jessica! And we know that you Earth ladies are most attune to how Human clothes are supposed to be. We would like to wear similar clothes to the rest of our friends that are here!
Jessica: Well I’m sure that we can do that:

Lady Tia: I love this pink sweatshirt as they call it! Not only does it look nice I feel warmer here in Earth’s climate which is cooler than ours!
Nomad: I do agree with that, Dear Wife. I like this black sweatshirt and these new Earth pants. Now we are starting to look more Human, except for the fact we are very short and green skin. LOL
Jessica: Well there you have it! You two look great! Thank you for taking the time to speak to me today!
Nomad: It’s our pleasure! Now we must get back to telling Agent Fox stories about the Great Engedian battles and how we liberated worlds from the Ahhn’s lies and Agagan’s oppression!
Lady Tia: You go do that, Nomad. I must analyze Miss Jessica’s gluten-free treats and figure out why I feel better eating that instead of some of our imported food on Engedi! I will have Agents Equellus and Dolphina help too!
Jessica: Well that’s all for now. I have some baking to do with my daughters and the First Lady of another planet! Isn’t that something?
