NASA’s Wallops Flight Center was opened in 1945. It serves as a launch center to many of NASA’s suborbital sounding rockets, but also is the prime location of the Antares rocket which is most notably used to fly supplies to the International Space Station via the Cygnus cargo spacecraft.
Wallops truly is one “highway” to Space. One day, flights to Space will become more routine and easier.
