In today’s Space Age Craze, NASA has announced that all who sign up to have their name on their “Send Your Name to Mars” list can have it programmed into an electronic chip flying on the next Mars Rover in 2020.

This is part of their Moon to Mars campaign that is presently going, of which Project Artemis is also part of.
For further information, the following information posted below is a summary/paraphrase of what’s on NASA’s related Moon-To-Mars site: “NASAβs science, technology and human exploration activities touch every aspect of our lives here on Earth and Humans want to extend that presence further out into Deep Space.
“NASAβs Apollo Program proclaimed Human strength of will and technological drive that brought on a revolution, not only in science and technology but also in our passion for exploration and discovery.
“If Humans bring together the capabilities and resources of this planet to take us forward to the Moon and on to Mars, it will serve as an example of what humanity can do when it comes together to achieve a common goal for the common good.
“Exploration is the desire to discover and inhabit distant worlds, whether across Earthly oceans or vast regions of space. It also is critical to the growth of the human species.
“Exploration of the Moon and Mars is intertwined. Moon to Mars exploration approach is reusable and repeatable. The Moon is a testbed for Mars. It provides an opportunity to demonstrate new technologies that could help build self-sustaining outposts off Earth.
“The next revolution will happen in space β a space economy built on mining, tourism, and scientific research that will power and empower future generations. Our investments in revolutionary, American-made technologies today fuel tomorrowβs innovation and space economy.“
This is one way of NASA to spread the word about Project Artemis and related Space Exploration efforts. I’ve posted an article about this recently to cover it in more detail. Don’t miss out on signing your name and to learn more about our ongoing efforts to expand space exploration opportunities.
