Gimmick Impressions: The Comparison of Pluto πŸŒ™ and Earth 🌎

This is Pluto, the farthest known planetoid from Sol, Earth’s own life-sustaining Star. The New Horizons spacecraft captured this and many other images of the famed dwarf planet beyond Neptune’s orbit.

The following images are shown here give perspective to the size of Earth compared to “dwarf” planet Pluto. Earth’s moon, known as Lunar is larger than Pluto. But Pluto sports an atmosphere that is greater than Earth’s diameter.

Next, to Earth, Pluto is tiny. For many years it was considered a full-fledged planet until it was reclassified nearly 10 years ago as a “dwarf planet”.

This shows a size comparison of Pluto to Earth’s Australia ?? continent.

Also, if you look close, you can see an actual open area that resembles the Disney character, Pluto!

There is ongoing research about Pluto, and what makes it unique among the orbiting planetoids of the Solar System. As time goes on there will be more to share about this amazing place!

For The Great Galactic Space Gimmick, I’m Gimmick Commander Ben Faltinowski (with my family and “Pluto” LOL). ??
